Shang Shi Bao Zhen Gao Plasters - Provides cooling pain relief. Can be left on 24 hours. Tieh Ta Yao Gin - Reduces swelling and pain. Resolves blood clots and stops bleeding. Used by martial artists to increase bone density and improve tendon strength during percussive exercises. Helps heal broken bones and wounds. Can be taken internally for hemorrhage (1-3 teaspoons with water twice a day). Do not take during pregnancy. Tiger Balm (white) - Increases the circulation or qi and blood, carries away lactic acid to relieve pain. Used for minor trauma associated with arthritis, strains, sprains and sore muscles. Students, rub a small amount on temples and third eye area before a test to increase mental focus and clear the mind. Wu Yang Plasters - Relieves pain due to swelling, bruising and fractures. Reduces bruises 75% in the first 15 hours. Can be left on for 24 to 48 hours. Skin should be checked during this time. Discontinue if rash appears. Yun Nan Bai Yao (powder) Used to stop bleeding internally or externally. Reduces clotting time by 33% - 55%. Used for severe injuries such as gunshot or knife wounds. Dust powder on wound, hold closed tightly and butterfly bandage. Stitches are often unnecessary. Internal use: .25 - .5g up to 4 times daily (adult). Do not take internally for more than 4 days. Inside the cap is a small red pill (Bao Xian Zi) to be taken only to prevent shock from severe blood loss. This small pill does not stop bleeding. Zhen Gui Shui - Hot and Toxic - Use with caution and do not cover. Penetrates to the bone to promote healing and stops pain due to deep bruises and fractures.
